Picsolve has opened a new interactive photo studio at Alton Towers Resort’s CBeebies Land. The company’s GSX photo solution has been installed in the themed area, and offers children the chance to get a unique photo with some of their favourite TV characters.
The CBeebies Photo Studio has been launched to recreate the actual studios the children will be familiar with and includes a wide variety of photo content, with the aim of getting children to feel as if they are immersed within the show by displaying them on-screen with the characters.
Characters from six TV programmes – Postman Pat, In the Night Garden, Something Special, Charlie & Lola, Mike the Knight and Mr Bloom – feature in the photo attraction.
The experience is enhanced by the use of props, such as the use of an oversized special delivery letter with which children can ‘help’ Postman Pat.
Picsolve said it would work with Alton Towers Resort to monitor guest feedback and offer ongoing new product development in response to user demand.
Customers who purchase photos, which can be seen immediately at the end of the attraction, are also given a free download code to access their images through Picsolve’s digital platform which enables them to share with friends and family via social media.
