Dyaco launches Spirit medical equipment range in the UK

Supplier: Dyaco UK Ltd

More Dyaco UK Ltd details
The equipment was developed using rehabilitation strategies and technologies that address a multitude of patient deficiencies to enhance recovery outcomes
Global fitness equipment manufacturer Dyaco has unveiled a range of specialist medical and rehabilitation equipment for UK healthcare providers and physiotherapy facilities.

The equipment from the Spirit Medical range includes Lower Body Ergometers, Total Body Steppers and a Gait Trainer Treadmill. The equipment was developed using rehabilitation strategies and technologies that address a multitude of patient deficiencies to enhance recovery outcomes.

The new products follow the launch of the Dyaco International Commercial & Medical Division in January this year and all equipment has Class 1 - IEC60601 certification and are in the process of going through Class 2 testing.

“We’re delighted to launch this comprehensive range of medical fitness equipment to the UK healthcare market. Specialist medical products can bring enormous benefits to patient rehabilitation and recovery that traditional fitness equipment is just not able to provide. With tailored adjustments and specialist features, our products enable clinicians and therapists the ability to bespoke physical therapy programmes for an individual’s specific needs, ” said Andy Loughray, Dyaco UK sales director.

Setting the equipment aside from its competitors, the ergometers and steppers provide symmetry measurements to the user. These measure the amount of power being generated by the left and right side individually as the products are being pedalled. This symmetry feedback is presented both graphically and numerically.

All equipment comes with a data output function that provides the physio with all of the critical data from a patient session.
