Organic skincare brand ILA has introduced a new range of products that use ingredients direct from the Amazon.
Called Rainforest Renew, the range consists of four pieces that combine the bio-active raw ingredients of acmella, pfaffia, marapuama and white lilly. Each powerful on their own, when blended together, the products are intended to support the skin's natural regeneration process. One of the ingredients in particular - acmella - restricts blood flow to the skin and has often been used by the Kayapu for healing wounds. Called a 'natural botox', it is said to help ease tired facial muscles.
Pure babassu oil grown and harvested by the Kayapu tribe is used as a base for each product.
The range includes a day cream; a night cream; a face serum and an eye serum.
All four products also come as a 10ml-size Rainforest Renew travel kit.
