The recent introduction by Gen3 Kinematics of their MyoQuip strength systems that represent the most significant change in strength training in 40 years certainly seems to be paying off for their latest users, Exeter Chiefs, who are having a season to remember already. Having cemented their status as worthy competitors in the Premiership (currently seventh), as well as winning their first ever European game, the Chiefs have certainly proved to be a dangerous fixture for opposing teams. Having recently gone unbeaten in 5 consecutive games with brilliant wins over Saracens, Sale, Wasps and Leeds as well as a solid draw with Cardiff that warranted more, their form will have alerted many eyes in the rugby world to see just how good Exeter are.
The Chiefs have been using the MyoQuip systems since the start of their pre-season training and the benefits certainly seem to be paying off in evidence of their strong defence that has been a signature of their performances so far this season. Head of Strength and Conditioning, Paddy Anson is delighted with the impact that the equipment brings, “we are really pleased with the performance gains that the players are showing with the equipment. The guys are fitter and stronger than ever and it seems to be showing in our performances so far”.
