The Tussauds Group, best known for its theme park and visitor attractions, which include Alton Towers and Thorpe Park, is taking on new software that will automate delivery payments to suppliers.
The group, which currently makes around 12,000 payments to 3,000 suppliers a year, has opted for Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) software from Albany Software to switch over from manually processed cheques, freeing up administration staff and reducing costs.
Nigel Elliott, Tussauds Group’s head of procurement, said: “Albacs appealed because of its ease of use, broad functionality and rigid security features. We will now have far greater control over the payment process to suppliers and can guarantee when funds will be appearing in their bank accounts, almost to the minute”.
