Sixteen male staff at leisure industry marketing agency, Big Wave Media, have forgone their personal grooming regimes for the month of November, in order to take on the Movember Challenge.
The moustache-growing challenge called for all 'real men' to raise valuable funds for Movember, a charitable initiative which aims to raise money and awareness for men's health, specifically prostate and testicular cancer.
However there is more at stake than merely being crowned tache of the month. Staff have been asking for sponsorship for growing their hairy lips and have been recording their progress at http://uk.movember.com/mospace/network/bigwavemedia
Tom Gozna, client services manager said: "By giving up our dignity and quite probably looking very silly for a month we aimed to raise a big sum for Movember. Clients have been welcomed to the office to have a gawk and a giggle at our hairy upper lips and donate some money to an excellent cause."
So far this year 246,591 Mo Bros have taken part across the UK, raising £8.8m. The fundraising programmes are run directly by Movember and their men's health partners, The Prostate Cancer Charity and the Institute of Cancer Research.
