A range of equipment has been supplied at Sheffield Hallam University and Wakefield College Absolute Performance has provided strength and conditioning equipment for new gyms at two education establishments in Yorkshire.
Sheffield Hallam University and Wakefield College aimed to create elite-level training facilities to help develop their rising sporting stars and for use in academic courses.
Cardiff-based Absolute Performance served as strength and conditioning specialist for a £500,000 refurbishment of Sheffield Hallam University’s three main gyms, having been selected by Precor for the role.
At Wakefield College, Absolute Performance managed the gym project from initial consultation and advising on the most appropriate equipment within budget, to supplying and installation of the gym.
Equipment supplied at the gyms included the company’s own heavyweight flooring, Werksan Olympic weightlifting racks, bars and plates, and AP Evolution turf to enable use of conditioning sleds.
