A new £150,000 Clown Coaster will be the star attraction at Wicksteed Park, near Kettering, when it opens to the public for the first time during the October school holidays.
The arrival of the steel Clown Coaster, built by Pinfari and formerly at Pleasure Beach Blackpool, is the latest milestone in the park's 90th anniversary celebrations.
The ride comprises a single train with four cars, with riders arranged two across in two rows for a total of 16 riders.
This year will also be the first that many of its rides and attractions have remained open during October.
Wicksteed Park head of park operations, Michael Bush, said: "We are really excited about the Clown Coaster and expect it to be ridden by more than 220,000 people a year."
Founded by Charles Wicksteed, the inventor of the children's playground, Wicksteed Park features 147 acres of beautiful parkland and a free playground as well as rollercoasters and rides.
