AV Stumpfl's system controls high-tech effects

Projection and show control system specialist AV Stumpfl has announced its collaboration with Simworx. AV Stumpfl provides its central control system to Simworx installations worldwide.
AV Stumpfl's control system SC Master can manage the special effects and other elements in a 4D theatre show. It’s in use at Simworx’s Angry Birds experience at Thorpe Park, UK, and provides centralised control for water, wind, bubbles, leg ticklers and seat motion elements.
“We're using SC Master to control show effects and ride functions such as seat drops, air blasts, water blasts and special effects, many of which run simultaneously and involve live audience interaction,” said Andy Bates, project delivery manager at Simworx.
“SC Master runs independently of the system, so doesn’t rely on software. It's purely engineered, bulletproof in design and is robust.”
“Additional projects include City of Dreams Resort and Casino, Manila with many more exciting projects in the pipeline,” Bates said.
Tobias Stumpfl, CEO at AV Stumpfl said the technology partnership was very exciting.
“It’s validating to see that our systems are used for control of high-tech effects and we are looking forward to seeing where Simworx will take our technology next,” he said.
